Successful 67 Unit Roll-Out Completed in under Two Weeks
The D-Tech team recently completed the roll-out of 67 serveIT EYRE units in under a fortnight.
Patrons of 36 public libraries across the South Coast of England will now have access to D-Tech’s next generation self-service kiosk – the serveIT EYRE. Thanks to the installation, patrons will also be able to pay any fines and fees easily thanks to their kiosks’ card payment functionality.
Making it 70
Following a refurbishment in the installation’s final library, the D-Tech team will be making their way back down to the South Coast to install the final 3 units and make it a round 70 units for local library users to enjoy.
Talking about the installation, D-Tech UK Sales Manager James Elby said, “This was a really impressive feat from James Roe, Mark and the support team. To have 67 units up and running in under two weeks shows the dedication of the D-Tech team.”
The serveIT EYRE
An exciting addition to our line of library self-service kiosk systems, the serveIT EYRE delivers a simple, successful transaction for every library user. The unit’s 23.8″ portrait touch screen is the very definition of user friendly, it’s large checkout area capable of checking out RFID tagged materials and barcoded items, and the kiosk also includes credit card, Contactless and Apple Pay™ functionality.
Available in Barcode Only and RFID configurations, the EYRE delivers maximum functionality for library users, while minimising floor space.
