D-Tech Installs RFID Security for West London school

The Library

Nishkam School West London opened the doors of its brand new, state of the art building in September 2018. At the heart of the stunning modern facility sits the new school library. Looking for support in the development of their library, the school got in touch with D-Tech.

The Challenge

“The library is being developed from scratch, from the allocation of data points and lighting to a fully stocked library.” School Librarian Penny Randhawa explains. “Part of the journey required a security gate system at the entrance of the library and D-Tech’s Craig Parry was the first to respond out of three companies I had contacted. I had lots of questions for him as the configuration of new steel beams close to the door entrance, following a new mezzanine floor, made it difficult to establish which type of system would work for us. I was also on a tight schedule as electricians were on-site and had to set up wiring and power points to house the library’s security gates. Craig responded immediately, arranging to do a site visit himself where, together, we were able to agree on the RFID P-series and gate count.”
