Computers in Libraries 2023
We are delighted to have attended this year’s Computers in Libraries conference in Arlington County, Virginia.
It was a great opportunity to be part of the world’s leading library technology and innovation conference. Organized by Information Today Inc, Computers in Libraries is an annual Conference that provides unique and exciting opportunities to network with fellow library and informational professionals from around the globe.
Taking place across three days, the event was held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City located at 2799 Richmond Highway, Arlington, VA 22202.
This year’s conference delivered an action-packed schedule with over 100 guest speakers, all of whom were leaders in the information industry from all types of environments. Speakers included CEO of Lighthouse Consulting Stephen Abram, Engagement and Marketing Manager of laurel County Public Library Kevin Bowman, and Data Analysis Librarian at Seattle Public Libraries David Christensen.
Across the three-day conference, attendees were able to interact with experienced and practical speakers, learn and gain insight from leading-edge topics; and discuss the myriad of ways technology impacts libraries and the communities that use them.
Sales manager Anne Lawler commented on the event; “We’re thrilled to have been a part of Computers in Libraries this year! Library communities all over the globe have been disrupted and changed in so many ways over the last few years, and Computers in Libraries was a fantastic opportunity to explore innovative insights into the library and information industry.”
