NEW touch-free sanitising technology launched to support education and workplace settings
COVID-19 has made us all think much more about germs and bacteria. When we’re not singing Happy Birthday as we wash our hands or wiping down surfaces with anti-bac spray, we’re worrying about what we’ve touched and who has touched it before us. In workplace, libraries and educational settings this is particularly pertinent to shared IT devices; and whilst lockdown measures may be keeping your staff and patrons at home at the moment, we’re all looking ahead to how we will keep them safe when restrictions are eased.
We are proud to announce the launch of our computeIT UV-C Sanitising Unit, which can be added to an existing computeIT locker or used as a standalone device cleaning system. ComputeIT UV-C uses high-intensity UV-C light technology to remove 99.9% of bacteria, sanitising any device within 30 seconds. With just 6 seconds of exposure, UV-C light has been scientifically proven to remove, or inactivate, 99% of SARS-CoV-2 virus from its targeted surface.
The unit is easy to use and the whole process is touch-free. We encourage users to sanitise their hands whilst waiting for, and if necessary whilst using their device to ensure it remains COVID safe.
If you think the computeIT UV-C Sanitising Unit has the potential to help your organisation to keep device users safe on return to your premises then click here to get in touch or call 01394 420077 to find out more from one of our helpful team.
